Michael Herman
Currently, I am a PhD student in the Cognitive Systems group at Bosch research in Renningen and part of the Autonomous Intelligent Systems Lab at the University of Freiburg, which is headed by my supervisor Prof. Wolfram Burgard. In particular, I am interested in Reinforcement Learning, Inverse Reinforcement Learning, and Deep Learning. My current research is focused on learning generalizable representations of an experts motivation or goal from observed behavior to enable programming by demonstration in complex, unknown environments.
